It is Sara Ali Khan’s birthday, but the real gift is for all her fans as the makers
of ‘Coolie No:1’ unveiled the first look at the posters that also feature
leading Varun Dhawan. While we see Varun in an animated and goofy
avatar, Sara simply stands out in her glam-chic look that is nothing short of
a movie star.
The film that is set to bring back the magic of the original 1995 film starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor, with a new twist to the story, will see Varun don the red coolie uniform while Sara presumably takes on the part of an uptown girl. The makers of the film released two posters that best bring out of the character’s traits.
The hunk also shared his motion poster, saying, “COOLIE NO 1. May 1 st
- Haat Jao baju aya Raju.
While Varun is seen in his coolie form in one poster, the other sees him
getting up close with Sara as they give a nod to the original franchise by
donning a hat with ‘Coolie No. 1’ written on it.
Varun on Sunday got fans hyped about the big release of the first look by treating fans to a teaser motion poster. Although it didn’t reveal his face, it
did show him struggling to hold up a stack of high-end designer bags.
Directed by David Dhawan, the film that is currently being shot in
Bangkok is slated for May 1, 2020 release.
