Art Inc. annouces it`s first annual art awards

Art Inc. Art Awards is the brain child of Renu Rana, director of the Art inc. The journey of this award started over a decade ago when Renu who was in her 40`s decided to go back to school and renew her passion for art.

Renu has always been passionate about recognizing true talent, regardless for the artists background. in her journey in the last 10 years she has come across artists who have used lunch money to buy paints, those who`ve lived in their studios and those who`ve ghost painted for the rich to make ends meet.

And through it all, she realized that all these great artists, for all their talent, where not being given any recognition. with this in mind, the awards are divided into 3 categories, painting, sculpture and photography and each category has a seasoned master and young artist who were selected by a jury of eminent artists like Arpana Caur, Prof. Biman Das, Prof. Niren Sengupta, and Hemant Khandelwal.

The “Lifetime Achievement Award” goes to Ms. Saroj Jain in the sculpture category ; Mr. Umesh Verma in the painting category; Mr. O.P. Sharma in the photography and Dr. Daljeet in the art historian Category.

Dr. Karan Singh, former member of Rajya Sabha, former President of ICCR, former chancellor of JNU and has held many prestigious posts, has agreed to be the chief guest for the ceremony.

Mifur Srl is all set to invite designers from India for The One Milano, one and only haute-a`-porte exhibition in the world , scheduled from Febraury 22nd to 25th in Italy during Milan fashion week. Vedas Shaakha on behalf of Mifur srl did a press conference in the capital city.

India Art Fair Announces 2019 Programme

India Art Fair (31 Jan – 3 Feb 2019) will welcome 75 exhibitors from across 24 Indian and international cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The fair draws upon a selection of contemporary art galleries from India and continues its strong tradition of showcasing works by the region’s leading Modernist artists. International galleries will bring some of the world’s biggest artists to India for the first time including Ai Weiwei and Wolfgang Tillmans.

New initiative IAF Parallel will see collateral events programmed by galleries, museums and arts spaces across New Delhi. Highlights include Bharti Kher’s solo exhibition at Bikaner House and Arpita Singh’s retrospective at Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.

Zooki hosted the preview of The Wedding Kaleidoscope

Charu Singh, founder Zooki hosted the preview of The Wedding Kaleidoscope:  launch of fall- Winter collections 2018 at The Chanakya.


Participating designers were, Sangeeta Kilachand and Samarjeet Gaur who presented their fall winter collections which they especially designed for this wedding season. The trousseau collections were inspired by Indian heritage textiles and embroideries. 

 Whereas, Pramiti Goenka, founder of Athvlya launched the ‘Yatra’ collection, a range of exquisitely beautiful but relatively light jewels you can wear at  destination weddings.


The exhibition marked the presence of  Abha Dalmia, Reshma Punj, Nawaab Kazim Ali, Jai Madaan, Tanya Ahuja, Priya Jain to name a few.

Kaladharmi on the occasion of their golden jubilee presents a 2-day festival “AAROHI”

Known for curating provoking and ground breaking gharana festivals, Kaladharmi on the occasion of their golden jubilee ceremony is organizing the 2nd edition of “AAROHI” series which celebrates a heritage gharana from 18th to 20th November 2018 at Meghdoot Auditorium & Stein Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Bringing alive versatile and talented artists across the Country, this series aspires to carry forward the legacy of classical music and aims to make a mark in the world of Indian Music. The festival will feature the torch-bearers of various gharanas across the Country in a very special way. The very first day of the festival will start with the seminar of world renowned artist Pandit Pannalal Ghosh of Borishal Ghosh Gharana which will be followed by the flute recital of eminent artist Shri Sudip Chattopadhay.

Narendra Nath Dhar

The 2nd day of the festival will start with the celebration of Borishal Ghosh Gharana with a short film on Pt. Pannalal Ghosh. Shri Ghosh has invented the long flute and propagated ist use for the first time in the Indian subcontinent thus creating a distinctly different flavor of the flute and giving it a status of classical music. The second performance of the day will be a flute recital by Pt. Rupak Kulkarni and the day ends with paying homage to Rampur- Sahaswan Gharana with a vocal recital by Shri Ghulam Niyaz Husssain Khan.

The final day of the series will start with celebration of Rajshahi- Shahjahanpur Gharana with the presentation of sarod recital by Shri Narendra Nath Dhar  which will be followed by paying homage to Patiala Gharana with a vocal recital by Pt. Shantanu Bhattarcharya.

Use matte clay concealer with the appropriate colour to conceal the under eyelid well   Take a drop of  ‘Shade Adjusting Drop light’   and blend with a blender brush. Apply DTE eyeshadow refill Idaho jasper in the outer corner of the eye, for more intensity add DTE eyeshadow refill Black canyon with the fluffy blending brush to give contour look to your eye. after that apply DTE eyeshadow refill Kaku jasper in the inner corner of the eye. On waterline apply Matte kajal, Black, & on lower lash line apply eyeshadow black Canyon and blend the shadow slightly. Use Shimmer wave Coral for brow bone highlighting (lighter shade). Finish the eyes by using a ‘Fiber Lash Mascara’( 3 steps n 3 coat application for full volume and Length). Groom brows with 3 in 1 Brow definer for intense application and apply transparent mascara to fix it.
